A clinical data platform designed for four kinds of users — a project the client converted into an ongoing embedded placement.
- Client
- Tenasol
- Industry
- Healthcare data
- Location
- California, USA
Tenasol's platform serves administrators, doctors, nurses, and patients, with clinical data arriving as PDF, DICOM, FHIR, HL7, JSON, and CSV. It needed role-based interfaces those four audiences could actually use, designed by people who understand the formats underneath.
The shape of the engagement.
One senior product designer, on a fixed design engagement that converted into an ongoing embedded placement.
Tenasol kept the designer. The strongest review a design engagement can get is the client converting it into a permanent seat.
- Role-based interface design for all four user types
- FHIR- and HL7-aware design decisions throughout
